Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 26, 2026
Last Updated: September 26, 2026
Golf Money Tracker LLC (“Golf Money Tracker,” “GMT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the Golf Money Tracker mobile application, visit golfmoneytracker.com, contact us, or otherwise use our services.
By using Golf Money Tracker, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Golf Money Tracker can be used for basic golf scoring without creating an account. Certain features, including cloud synchronization, friends, social feeds, and social leaderboards, require an account.
When you create or use a GMT account, we may collect your email address, display name, username, golf handicap, account preferences, and authentication information. Password authentication is handled through our authentication provider. We do not store your password in plain text in the Golf Money Tracker application database.
When you use the app, we may collect or store information related to your golf activity, including:
Golf course and tee selection; hole-by-hole scores; handicaps and allocated strokes; golfer names and saved golfer information; game types and game settings; game stakes and calculated results; round dates and history; settlement calculations; course or scorecard correction reports; friend requests, friendships, blocks, and social interactions; social feed posts, scores, game results, money results when you choose to display them, and content reports.
If you enter information about another golfer, such as their name, handicap, or score, that information may be stored as part of your round or saved golfer information.
2. Social Features
GMT includes optional social features that allow users to connect with other golfers.
Your GMT username, display name, handicap, and certain profile information may be visible to other GMT users as necessary to support golfer search, friend requests, profiles, feeds, and leaderboards.
Completed-round posts can be configured as Friends or Private. You can also choose whether your money results are shown or hidden from social features.
Information you choose to share with friends may include the course played, date of play, score, score relative to par, game types, and money won or lost when money visibility is enabled.
GMT also provides features for blocking users and reporting inappropriate content or behavior.
3. Golf Game and Settlement Information
Golf Money Tracker allows golfers to record and calculate results for golf games such as Skins, Wolf, 6-6-6, 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2, Low Ball, Low Total, and similar formats.
GMT may store the dollar amounts or stakes entered by users and calculate amounts owed between golfers.
Golf Money Tracker does not accept wagers, hold user funds, transfer money between golfers, operate a betting pool, or process payments resulting from golf games. Settlement information is provided solely as a tracking and calculation feature.
We do not collect bank account numbers, payment-app login credentials, or credit/debit card information for golf-game settlements.
4. Local Device Storage
GMT stores certain information locally on your device so that the app can function even when an internet connection is unavailable.
This may include active rounds, completed round history, saved golfers, scores, game settings, and synchronization information.
If you use GMT without an account, much of your information may exist only on your device. Deleting the app or clearing its data may permanently remove locally stored information that has not been synchronized to an account.
5. Cloud Storage and Synchronization
When you are signed into a GMT account, certain information may be synchronized to our cloud services so that you can access features such as cloud backup, friends, social feeds, leaderboards, and synchronized rounds.
Cloud-synchronized information may include profile information, saved golfers, active and completed rounds, scores, course information, game settings, social preferences, feed posts, friend relationships, blocks, reports, and related information necessary to provide GMT services.
We currently use Supabase to provide authentication, database, and cloud-storage infrastructure.
6. Golf Course Information
GMT uses third-party and GMT-verified course information to provide golf course search, tee information, yardages, pars, handicap/stroke indexes, ratings, slopes, and scorecards.
GMT currently uses OpenGolfAPI for certain golf-course and scorecard information. When you search for a golf course, your search terms and technical request information may be transmitted to that service.
Golf Money Tracker may also maintain verified course information when we receive updated or confirmed scorecards.
If you submit an incorrect-scorecard report, we may collect the course, tee set, correction details, and information associated with your GMT account so that we can review the report.
7. Website and Contact Information
When you visit golfmoneytracker.com, our website provider may automatically process basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies or similar technologies necessary to operate and secure the website.
Our website is currently hosted using Squarespace.

We use this information to respond to support requests, investigate bugs, review course corrections, address account issues, and improve GMT.
8. How We Use Information
We use information collected through GMT to provide and operate the application; create and maintain user accounts; synchronize rounds and golfer information; calculate golf scores, handicaps, games, and settlements; provide social feeds, friends, profiles, and leaderboards; respond to customer support requests; investigate bugs and incorrect course information; prevent fraud, abuse, harassment, and misuse; maintain security; improve GMT features and performance; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights and safety of GMT, our users, and others.
We do not use your golf-game information to place bets or facilitate gambling.
9. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell user information to advertisers, and the current version of GMT does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate GMT, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, course-information, website-hosting, and app-distribution providers. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their own privacy practices.
Information may also be shared with other GMT users when you intentionally use social features, such as friend requests, profiles, feeds, and leaderboards.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, court orders, or government requests; investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our policies; protect the safety or rights of GMT, our users, or the public; or facilitate a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of Golf Money Tracker LLC.
10. Third-Party Services
GMT currently relies on third-party services that may process information in connection with providing our services, including:
Supabase for authentication, cloud databases, and synchronization.
OpenGolfAPI for golf-course search and scorecard information.
Squarespace for our public website and website-related services.
Apple for App Store and TestFlight distribution and related platform services.
These companies operate under their own privacy policies and may independently collect certain technical or account information when you use their services.
11. Information GMT Does Not Currently Request
The current version of Golf Money Tracker does not require access to your phone contacts, microphone, camera, photo library, health records, or precise GPS location to provide the core free GMT features.
If GMT introduces features in the future that require additional permissions, such as GPS-based golf distances, we will request the appropriate device permission and update this Privacy Policy when necessary.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide GMT, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our services.
Locally stored data may remain on your device until you delete it, clear application data, or remove the application.
Cloud information associated with an account may remain until it is deleted by you or by Golf Money Tracker following an account-deletion request, subject to information we may need to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
Some information may be retained in de-identified or aggregated form when it can no longer reasonably identify you.
13. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your GMT account and personal information associated with that account.
You may contact us at:
cooperscott@golfmoneytracker.com
Please use the subject line “GMT Account Deletion Request” and contact us from the email address associated with your account so that we can verify your request.
When an account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account unless retention is required or permitted by law.
Information stored only on your device may need to be removed separately by deleting locally saved information or removing the application.
14. Your Privacy Choices
GMT provides controls that allow you to choose whether completed rounds are shared with friends or kept private and whether money results are displayed in social features.
You may also edit certain profile information, delete qualifying content, remove saved rounds, block other users, and report content or users.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you additional rights regarding your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information.
To submit a privacy request, contact cooperscott@golfmoneytracker.com.
We will take reasonable steps to verify that a request comes from you or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf.
15. No Sale of Personal Information
Golf Money Tracker does not sell personal information.
GMT also does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required privacy choices.
16. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
However, no internet transmission, mobile application, database, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You use GMT and transmit information at your own risk.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should not share passwords with others.
17. Children's Privacy
Golf Money Tracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through GMT accounts.
If you are under 13, do not create a GMT account or submit personal information without appropriate parental or legal guardian involvement.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to GMT, please contact us at cooperscott@golfmoneytracker.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
